More about the Tugela Falls and Amphitheater
The magnificent amphitheater is located in the northern Drakensberg and is home to the recently declared highest single drop water fall in the world - the Tugela falls. The hike to the top of the amphitheater is short at only 8km but can be testing with an overnight pack and the tricky chain ladders to ascend. However once at the top you are rewarded with panoramic views of the KwaZulu Natal interior and if you are lucky you could find yourself standing above the clouds
